Purpose / Background          QCC is being formed as per the Instruction from the Esteemed office of Director Of Ayurveda Medical Education (DAME ), letter No ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, dated ,,,/,,,,/,,,,, in order to ensure, and improve the quality health care in the institution

Vision   -               “To Provide quality healthcare to the patients confirming to scientific & ethical standards
Objectives         -           To monitor, assess and Guide the clinicians, officials and other staff and committees to provide quality healthcare to the patients confirming to scientific & ethical standards

Role of the committee             - QCC  shall be conducted in every month.QCC shall periodically monitor the the performance of various sub committees to ensure the Quality in Healthcare system. QCC will have to intervene in all the matters highlighted by the subcommittees , or by the higher authorities. QCCe shall take up the matters in agenda and must come to a practical solution to the matter. QCC should evaluate the performance by  subcommittes by using the  KPI. The Performance and the progress of various  committees formed for the Quality Improvement  like NABH shall be assessed and proper guidelines may also be provided if necessary
Powers of the committee      -This QCC  will be the final  authority for matters related to Hospital and                                  Quality in Healthcare system
QCC  will be Final committee for approval of NABH Policies (internal vetting)
QCC has the power to demand the performance audit of any subcommittees related to Quality assurance.
QCC has the power to update, remove or modify any hospital/NABH policies to enhance to Quality of service /care.

Operation of the Q C Cell  
Roles and Responsibilities of QCC members
Chairperson/Chair - To provide leadership and direction to the committee so as to facilitate the work of the Institution in pursuing its vision, mission and strategic direction within the committees terms of reference (TOR)
Secretary -      The role of the Secretary is to support the Chair in ensuring the smooth functioning of Committee.He /She also must ensures that the  meetings are effectively organised and minuted. He /She also must take care in Maintaining effective records of administration,Communication ,correspondence and decisions taken by the committee
Convenor - The Convenor shall convene meetings of the committee by notifying each member of the committee in such manner as the committee shall decide.

Frequency Of Meeting
QCC Shall be Convened once in every month.
Operations Of Committee
Members of the QCC shall be intimated in written or by using the aid of electronic media regarding the venue , time of  the committing meeting. The intimation shall also be furnished with Agendaof meeting.
In every meeting ,Chairperson Opens the meeting , and , The minutes of the previous meeting may be read at the meeting or taken as readThe chairperson asks if all present agree that the minutes are correct. If everyone agrees, the minutes are approved and signed by the chairperson. If something is deemed incorrect, it is discussed and corrected before the minutes are approved.
          Before a decision is made, an item is thoroughly discussed. The chairperson decides when to stop discussion and proceed to the next item.
Once all items on the agenda have been discussed, the date of the next meeting is decided and the meeting is closed and adjourned.
A minimum Quorum to make decisions is 60 % of the committee members excluding the chairperson.
Committee holds power to amend, remove or update the TOR of the QCC committee.
Among the members of QCC, Chairperson of committee of  AAC, COP,MOM,PRE,HIC,CQI,ROM, FMS,HRM,IMS shall appoint any one of their committee member as representative for the smooth conduction of the meeting and the name of the representative shall be informed formally to the chairperson.
